Preparation

Embarking on any journey can be filled with questions and difficulty.
First pregnancy, first time breastfeeding, or just looking for a refresher; schedule a virtual, office or home visit Prenatal Consultation to help you improve your chances of success

Difficulty

Sometimes your breastfeeding journey does not go as well as you hoped. Difficult or painful feedings and fussy or uncomfortable babies may be caused by birth trauma, muscle tension, tongue and lip ties, or disorganization. An Initial Consultation with an experienced lactation consultant can help determine the cause of difficulty and develop a plan of care that works for you.

Continuation

Your breastfeeding journey will continue to evolve; Initial consultation, Follow-up Consultations, and On-Going Care help you navigate the twists, turns, and detours making continuation a little easier.

Services Offered

Initial consultation

$200 office $225 home

90 minutes – includes maternal and infant history, weight check, infant oral assessment, breastfeeding or bottle feeding assessment, position and latch assistance, milk removal assistance as needed, and answers to questions.

follow-up consultation

$100 office $125 home

For established families requiring continued assistance. Breastfeeding bottle feeding and beyond.
60 minutes - includes weight check, assessment of progress, assistance as needed, and answers to questions.

Pump Fitting

$100 office $125 home

60 minutes - includes demonstration and fitting of breast pump by a trained lactation consultant, hand expression assistance. As well as tips and tricks for storage, feeding, and maintaining milk supply.

BOTTLE FEEDING SUPPORT

$100 office

60 minutes - bottle feeding support for babies fed human milk and processed milk. Includes guidance in bottle selection, nipple flow rate, paced feeding, refusal, and tips for success.

prenatal Consultation

$100 office $125 home

120 minutes - Prepare yourself for a successful feeding journey with this private, in-home, in office, or virtual visit.
We will discuss how to get off to the best start, signs of success, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to get help if you need it.
First pregnancy, first time breastfeeding, or just looking for a refresher; this visit will help you improve your chances of success

Feeding Baby Class

$75 office

120 minutes - If you are breast milk or formula feeding, the first year of baby’s life can be an adventure. This private class/discussion can help make that journey less complicated.
We will discuss pumping and milk storage, pumping tips for when mom needs to be away, alternate feeding methods, introduction of complimentary foods, and what to expect with weaning.

Jenni is a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with passion for infant feeding and family empowerment.

Experience in the hospital, private practice, and the dental office have provided the a wealth of knowledge and drive to make a difference. She is prepared to assist you with a virtual, office, or home visit with 1.5 hours of Green Bay.
